Walking, Talking, and Falling down

So my baby isn't quiet a baby anymore... he is growing up so fast. He just recently started walking in the past few weeks... hence the not writing... but running after him. I have lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks from chasing him. LOL! I can't believe that he is walking and will be one this coming Friday. Where did all the time go? I was thinking one day... he will never get up the nerve to let go to take some steps... and then all of sudden he was doing it like a pro.

When I watch him walk I can't help but to think of how we learn in life how to do new and exciting things. I am sure God watches like we moms and dads do. Landon will fall every like 10 to 15 steps, get back up laugh or whine, and keep on a going. Eventually I am sure he will be running and it will be all over for me. But in the meantime, isn't it funny how it is the same with us and our Walk through life. We learn how to "walk" and then we fall, laugh or whine a little, and then get right back up and start again. I know that when Landon falls right now I am right there to help him up if he needs it, to console him when he gets hurt, and to be a shoulder to cry on. It is so comforting to know that God is there for me in the same way.

He now says "momma, momma" when he wants me to look at him and show a little attention. I love to hear him say that word. I know he needs me and wants me around, and I love having him as my son. It is so sweet to be apart of his life. He is talking so much these days, constant babbling, and a few words I can understand every like 20 or so words. LOL. I know it will all come out clearer as he gets older, but for right now I love to hear him babble. I don't want it to go any faster. He tells me during the day that it is time to go see Dada, by saying "bye-bye, dada, bye-bye dada." So we get ready and most of the time go and see dada when he asks. It is so nice to be able to do that! I love it!

Well until next time(who knows when ;)...lol) know that when you fall down God is there for you, and you can get right back up and continue to learn your knew endeavor! I am looking forward to more teachings by God through watching my son grow. I will try to keep it posted for all to read!

**** A funny side story. Today we went to a playdate with a few friends from church. There was three little boys there including mine. We were at one of the other mom's house outside playing. After lunch, Landon was walking around on the patio, and found some tar. Yes you heard me right TAR! Yuck... so yep you guessed it, he played in it before I could get to him. It was all over his hands! SIGH.... so we had to get it off with GooGone... which thank God it worked! LOL!(look for more funny Landon side stories...they happen often!)
